Anke Heydenreich

Growing up in Germany, studying in Ireland, moving to the UK, and travelling extensively, Anke has always engaged in numerous social impact, biodiversity and sustainable development initiatives. Early in her career, she took a sabbatical to support local community development in Bolivia. She has been a financial supporter across several cause areas, from homelessness to educational attainment for students growing up in disadvantaged areas.

Currently, most of her time is dedicated to setting up and supporting climate projects, incl planting native trees on a former golf club. The aim is to increase biodiversity, CO2 drawdown, climate education and access to nature in an impactful way. Anke is the co-founding partner of Attestor Capital, a value investment fund which manages money on behalf of large US universities and family offices. Prior to Attestor, she worked at several investment firms, including Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch. She also currently sits on the Board of the Rediscovery Centre, Trinity College Dublin’s Provost Council and is an adjunct assistant professor at Trinity Business School.
